The story : Sally is married to Navy man Bob Hyde.
She has been living the quiet life on base with her hubby for sometime.
When Bob gets promoted to Captain and sent to Vietnam , Sally stays behind.
Sally befriends the girlfriend of Bob's friend , Vi.
Vi works as a nutritionist at the VA Hospital while staying close to her brother who is a patient at the hospital.
Sally gets to thinking she would like to volunteer her help at the hospital as well.
Soon after starting there , Sally realizes one of the men being treated is a guy she knew in high school.
The two get acquainted once again , only better this time around.
