Heartburn (1986)

The story: Rachel and Mark are a couple of newspaper writers, who happen to catch each others' eye at a mutual friends' wedding.
Quickly the two get together.
They have both been married before and when Mark mentions marriage to Rachel, she insists she will never wed again.
That it just doesn't work.
Even on their wedding day, Rachel is a mess and has a hard time going through with it.
That is until Mark convinces her its the right thing for them.
One baby in and another on the way, all of a sudden Rachel realizes that her husband is possibly having an affair.

Winnebago Man (2009)

The story: In 1989, Jack Rebney was a salesman for the Winnebago company.
He was sent to Iowa with a film crew in the sweltering hot depts of the summer heat, to make a promotional advertisement for Winnebagos.
What happened was, in between filming the takes, the cameramen continued to roll tape.
They rolled tape, because of how aggravated and irritated Mr. Rebney was. Over and over again, he lost his cool, calm and collection that can be seen on the actual video. This rolling of the outtakes was then made into a collection video, titled The Angriest Man in the World.
One of quite a few got a hold of this outtakes video and became instantly obsessed with finding out anything and everything he could about the infamous Jack Rebney.
What follows is that man's journey and adventure.

Dragon will not take no for an answer and make positive that Hemlock will take the job, he mentions that one of the deaths being avenged is that of one of Hemlocks' dearest old friends'.

Well, that's how it looks to his buds who happen upon the gruesome scene.
Fast forward a few months.
Ty is just getting out of the looney bin and has invited all his buds up to his mom's hideaway cabin in the woods for a boys weekend/wake celebration.
A few of Ty's buds are a bit hesitant to go and be around him, as they are really not sure hes okay now.
He insists that he is.
That is until he happens upon a strange aura, free-standing, out in the woods.

Saint Ange AKA House Of Voices (2004)

The story: Anna is a troubled young woman.
She has come to Saint Ange, an orphanage, to do work as a cleaning lady.
Recently there was a horrible accident where one of the orphans was killed.
So now the orphanage is being closed for renovations. All the children are taken out of the orphanage and the only people left there are Anna, another cleaning lady who has been there for 23 years and another young woman, who was an orphan that never left.
The day the orphans leave, one girl warns Anna.
So now Anna continuously looks around every corner and under every rug to figure out what the little girl was talking about.

The story: Annie and Johnny are good kids. They enjoy spending as much time with their widower dad as they possibly can.
On their way back home after an awesome vacation to the Grand Canyon, the group has a little car trouble.
They pull off at a rest stop to fix a flat. Annie and Johnny go off and explore the area a bit and meet a few kids while they're at it.
While playing frisbee, they all meet this strange guy who just happened to be hanging out in a pile of tree branches.
He lets the kids know that there are alien beings in the area and he is looking to take care of them.
No one really believes him but he gives little Johnny a special crystal that will inform him when he is in harm's way of the aliens.
Shortly after returning home, Annie, Johnny, their dad and the rest of the people who live in their building soon become the targets of the critters.

The story: Nate and Sam are a couple of best buds.
They are having Sams' little bro help them with a video project for a TV reality program they are thinking of submitting their video too.
The three venture out onto the open road of the highway to get to a better film destination when they pass an amber alert.
They don't think too much about it. That is until they believe they see the car that is being looked for with the matching plate.
Sam insists that the three of them follow the car in case there is a child in dire need of their help inside the car.
Nate insists repeatedly that they do not get involved beyond reporting seeing the car to the police.
But Sam will not stop and Nate has no chance of ignoring her wishes.

When Cissy arrives back out in the yard, she instantly notices her baby, 18-month-old Jessica, is nowhere that she can see her.
After frantically searching about the yard, the other children let her know that little Jessica is in fact down inside the water well right there in the backyard.

While scoping out the goods, Emma spots a very cool, old box that she wants.
Ooh, from that point on things get very weird.

The story: Once upon a time, there was a young, private lady who loved to sing.
She lived alone and obviously didn't keep close ties with anyone.
How can I say this? Well, the young woman died in her apartment with no one around.
The strange thing about that is, well no one who knew her, ever knew she was dead.'
In fact, no one realized she had passed for 3 whole years.
After so long of not paying her bills and rent, repossession busted into her apartment, only to find her dead on her couch.
Now no one knew who she was that found her and went as far as advertising about her to see if they could find out anything about her, just by advertizing her name.
Eventually, people that actually knew, dated and or lived with her years ago came forth, telling their stories about who they seen her as and what she meant to them.

One day while on his way to work he stops in for some gas and gets ripped off by the delightful girl who pumps his gas.
He finds out he's been had moments later when he's pulled over by his mom's ex-boyfriend/cop for stealing gas.
That night, Justin attends the local carnival with his buddy and finds that the girl who got him in trouble with the gas, works at the carnival.
Justin approaches her about the gas, but she just ignores him.
But on his way to work again the next day, he gets to meet up with her once again and actually spend time talking to her this time.

Everything seems like it will all work out for Mary, so she's not too worried. She's just happy to be out of the bad relationship.
Soon, Marys' phone starts ringing on a regular basis and it's no one that she thinks she's ever known. (Yea this is where this gets messed up.)
The woman on the telephone will not stop calling Mary, no matter what.
I guess Marys' got some demons that she's been suppressing and now I guess its time to awaken them.

Darryl doesn't care that his home is located right beside the local airport, he finds it brings it much charm.
One day, Darryl is visited by a man who wants to appraise Darryl's home.
Although he is a bit confused at first, he goes along with it and takes great pleasure in pointing out all the additions he has made and is very proud of.
A few days after the appraisal, Darryl and his family get a letter that explains to them that the state is going to take their home, tear it down for expansion to the airport.

Bruno (2000)

The story: Young Bruno has a tough life.
He attends Catholic school, where the other boys beat on him and tease him constantly. Not one of the nuns see any of this going on as a problem Bruno is dealing with. Rather they consider it all a problem Bruno causes himself.
Brunos' mother is a sweet woman who makes money making dresses but has let herself go and is horribly obese.
And Brunos father...well, he is shacked up with a younger woman whom he left Brunos' mother for on top of being ashamed of just about everything Bruno does and is.
Many horrible things happen to Bruno, but he doesn't let any of this get him down.
Bruno has a recurring dream, which he sees as some sort of nightmare in which he is chased by an angel for stealing her dress.
From this so-called nightmare, Bruno comes to the conclusion that he was born to wear dresses as a form of expressing himself and will not stop this until everyone understands he has this right.

Curtain Call AKA It All Came True (1998)

The story: Stevenson Lowe is a working stiff who doesn't have a clue about much except what he does for a living.
His girlfriend has convinced him that he needs a bigger place so the two find a ridiculously beautiful old house that hasn't been lived in, in about 30 something years.
He buys the house but because he is wishy-washy and doesn't give his girl any real straight answers about their relationship, he is constantly having to apologize, chase her down and make amends with her.
Soon Stevenson finds that he isn't just part-time sharing his home with his girlfriend.
In fact, there is a couple of old stages and film stars dwelling in the home as well.
The stars are married, constantly bickering and insulting each other. Oh yes, and they are ghosts.
Ghosts only Stevenson can see and decide to help him with his love life.

At first, Charlie refuses, but after some bargaining, he decides to take her along.
While on his way back home, he takes a detour and ends up having plane trouble.
The two get stranded and cannot be found due to the fact that Charlie was not on his regular path.
Now the two fight the odds to survive, learning many things from each other along the way.

The story: Annie goes back to her childhood home where the memories arent so pleasant.
Her mother has recently past and her older sister is pestering for her to come for the funeral.
When Annie arrives at the house, her sister is missing.
At the funeral, Annie meets her sister's daughter whom shes never met before.
She is staying with Annies cousin.
So the cousin and daughter come and stay at the house with Annie.
But while they're staying there, something beats up on Annie and then her cousin comes up missing like her sister.
Annie tries to get help from the police, but the situation kind of seems to them that this may be out of the police's hands.
So Annie recruits a physic and now she starts to get to the bottom of things.

Zombie High (1987)

The story: Andrea gets a scholarship to a very important prep college. Really important because this semester the school has actually enrolled girls and never has ever before.
Her best beau Barry believes Andrea will find someone new and forget all about him, especially when they arrive at the school a certain guy can't seem to take his eyes off her.
Later, Andrea finds that that certain guy is her teacher and yes he has an interest in her, but she can't figure out why.
Barry phones up Andrea telling her that the school she's going to was founded by a madman but Andrea just thinks Barry will try anything to get her out of there.
That is until she realizes that something very strange is actually going on and everyone but her seems to be in on it.

Tourette de France (2007)

The story: Keith Allen, filmmaker, and father of singer Lily Allen decide he would like to find out, up close and personally what makes people with Tourette's tick, so to speak.
He goes on a trip with a group of young "touretters" as he calls them, to learn as much as he can and to help us all understand people with Tourettes better.
The group is en route to the hospital in Paris where the first case of Tourettes was diagnosed and they do a lot of sightseeing, relaxing and having a crazy good ole time along the way.

The Good Life (2010)

Filmed entirely in Portugal.
The story: It has been quite a few tough years for mother and daughter, Annemette and Mette Beckmann.
While the man of the house was still alive, the small family of three lived quite well never wanting for anything as he was an heir to his rich father's fortune.
But all of a sudden, when the revolution happened, the family basically was robbed of their riches and left for broke, having just about nothing to fall back on.
These days, mother and daughter are stuck living together in very close quarters.
The two live off the of the mother's state checks and selling off beautiful vintage things that were gifts to their family when they were well off.
We get to see the daughter, who mind you is a 50-year-old woman more than able to take care of herself and elderly mother physically just not mentally - give her mother shit for not raising her correctly so she could fend for herself.
The two go through many daily problems which all arise due to their lack of cash flow.
So, the daughter is increasingly bored, lonely, tired, angry and quite needy - not exactly taking into consideration that her mother is old and could be gone any day or how badly she feels for her daughter or how much she worries about her future. Daughter has her little dog - Lady, whom she loves to pieces and every now and then she goes out to the disco and dances by herself or goes to get her tarot read.
