Judy (2019)

The story: It is the mid-60s, now divorced from Sid Luft, traveling from gig to gig with their two small children, Judy is doing her best to make ends meet.
But she currently has no place to call home for her family and cannot make the money to do so.
After a small paying American gig, Judy finds herself and children kicked out of the hotel they were staying at with no place to go.
They go to Sid's house who convinces the unwilling Judy the kids should stay with him.
Soon she finds herself doing gigs in London, which happens to be the only place she can get constant work.
All she wants to do is have a home to bring her children to.
But along the way of making her intentions become a reality, stresses, depression, drink, and prescription drug use make every effort seem useless.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019)

The story: Lloyd Vogel is a journalist for Time magazine.
Back to work now after a short time off, Lloyd is used to doing small, forgettable stories, just enough to get him by.
Currently, there has been some hubbub about Mister Fred Rogers, the host of the popular children's television program.
Lloyd's boss wants him to write a small story on Fred, which Lloyd isn't sure he wants to do.
But after meeting Fred, watching him conduct his television show, meeting his wife and friends, and seeing how everyone he encounters he treats with love and respect,  Lloyd begins warming up to him.
He realizes that Fred is a genuine person who only has the best intentions for everyone he meets and this helps Lloyd along in his own personal journey, turning the two into very good friends.

The story: Middle-aged composer George Webber is bored.
Bored with life and bored with his life.
He lives a really nice, privileged life and has everything anyone could ask for, even a loving girlfriend but all of that just isn't enough for George.
He believes he is surely missing out on something special.
While driving through town one day, George locks eyes with a beauty in a wedding dress, on the way to her wedding.
Now George cannot get her out of his head.
He goes to every length to find her and when he does, she isn't exactly what he expected.

The Final Girls (2015)

The story: Three years ago Max lost her beloved mother to a tragic car accident.
Things haven't been the same with Max since that night.
On the anniversary of her mother's death there is an underground showing of the movie she starred in.
Max's friends stepbrother Duncan asks Max to make a special appearance at the showing but she isn't interested.
To get Max to do it, Duncan promises to do all and every of her future history assignments.
This is an idea Max cannot pass up.
At the movie now, just when the scene gets bloody that Max's mom is in, she decides to go out for some air.
At that very same moment, a fire breaks out in the theater, and Max and her friends scramble to escape.
Unbelievably enough, they find themselves trapped inside the very movie they were just watching and somehow must find their way back out...
