Twisted Desire (1996)

In all honesty , yes this is based on a true story. But like many movies based on truths , there are some inconsistencies. I personally enjoy doing the research on said types of movies to find out the "real" story. But sometimes all the needed info isnt always available.
This movie is based on the murder of JB Baxter Wiseman and his wife Kathy - both 33-years-old, at the hands of their at the time 14-year-old daughter Jessica Wiseman and her 17-year-old boyfriend Douglas Christopher Thomas in Hartfield , Virginia in 1990...
The one thing that totally stands out in this movie , is the portrayal of Jessica and how completely manipulative she is. That makes total sense.
Made for NBC , airing May 13th in the US.
Filmed in South Carolina.
Based on truths.
The story : Jennifer (AKA Jessica) is a spoiled rotten high school student.
She has been having issues with her parents , mainly because they dont approve of her dressing scantily and going out on week nights.
When Jennifer loses her favorite guy due to not being able to go out like all the other kids her age , shes pissed at her parents.
She meets older guy Nick (AKA Douglas Christopher Thomas) on way to school who later meets up with her because he found her wallet.
The two get together and really enjoy each others company.
When Jennifers parents give her a chance to earn their trust and she messes that all up , the end result is being banned from ever seeing Nick.
But Jennifer wont accept that and decides to talk Nick into helping her get rid of her parents so they can be together...
Stars Melissa Joan Hart , Daniel Baldwin , Isabella Hoffman , David Lascher , Meadow Sisto , Jeremy Jordon , Kurt Fuller , Collin Wilcox Paxton , Eric Laneuville , Joe Inscoe , Alan Sader
