The story: When Tammy Faye was just a young girl, she wanted God in her life.
As a young adult, she found herself attending Bible college.
There , Tammy Faye met Jim Bakker, who she completely admired.
The two adored and appreciated each other so much, they decided to get married rather than finish school.
Quickly they began thinking of what their future would hold.
Jim would preach his admirable praises while Tammy Faye would sing and do puppet shows.
They took their act on the road, believing if they were seen by enough people, they would finally get their own show.
And then, it happened.
Their popular roadshow was seen by the right person and they were invited to do their routine on television.
Quickly, their popularity grew, sending them straight in the direction of money, fame, and power.
Tammy Faye stayed with her husband through thick and thin.
But when their lives were rearranged by scandal and greed, there was no redemption.
