Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)

Made for Netflix, steamed February 18th in the US.
Filmed entirely in Bulgaria...
The story:  Melody and Dante are chefs.
They have brought Melody's sister and Dante's fiancee to a small ghost-like Texas town on a mission.
Potential investors are coming right behind them, which Melody and Dante believe will help the small town thrive once again, with them opening their dream restaurant.
From the get-go, things aren't working out well.
Melody and Dante go inside what appears to be an abandoned orphanage, only to find a poor elderly woman living there.
Dante is pissed and believes the woman is no longer the owner of the house.
The old woman on the other hand continuously claims the house still belongs to her, that she is all paid up.
When Dante calls in the help of the police, things get even worse for the old woman.
On the way to the hospital she dies, really pissing off the last "boy" who has been living with her for years.
Unknown by anyone of them, the "boy" who she has been caring for is actually Leatherface and he's been laying low for around 50 years...
