The story: Ken asks Allison what she would like to do this Valentine's day.
She says she just wants to stay home, in sweatpants, in front of the TV.
Ken is thrilled with that decision.
Dave's really excited about his first Valentine's day. He shows Ken his poem for his Valentine, Emily. He wants to make sure it's good enough to give her.

After Dave says the poem is too much, he takes it and leaves it on the dresser in his bedroom.
Allison has been feeling a bit down about the fact that no one finds Valentine's day as romantic as she does.
So when she finds the poem that Dave wrote, she assumes Ken wrote it for her.
