The story: It is Christmas Eve.
Lloyd and Caroline have gone to their marriage counselor because things are not going so great between them.
This is a busy day for them, as their family will be coming for dinner later on.
On the way home, they stop at a small convenience store.
Caroline goes inside while Lloyd waits in the car.
Caroline returns, only now she has been taken, hostage.
A burglar who is looking for a hideout insists they take him home with them.
