God Told Me To (1976)

Released sometime in November of 1976.
Filmed in New York and England.
The story : One sunny day , a sniper decides to sit atop a water tower and take out people at random.
Policeman Peter Nicholas takes it upon himself to climb the tower to talk to the man.
Peter gets answers to the questions he asks.
The one that gets to him most is the answer to why on earth he would do such a thing....then the man purposely falls to his death.
Soon more random killings occur and this begins to look like a diabolical trend.
All of the people who do this horrifying deed all say the same thing - 'God told me to.'
There is some sort of brainwashing going on it seems and seeing how Peter believes himself a very religious man , he must find out why God is seemingly to blame here.
