The story : Diana is a writer for Cosmopolitan magazine.
While packing for a work trip , she finds drugs in her teenage daughters room.
Now Diana has changed her plans.
She tells her daughter she is taking a trip to Louisiana to visit some relatives and wants her to go along.
This is really just to get to spend some time with her daughter.
But the two of them get to learn about some of their backwoods family folk who all seem to live on the memory of their late husband/father - Diana's uncle.
