The story : It's 1970 and Jack is worried about all these bills piling up.
It's almost Thanksgiving and Karen , Wayne and Kevin are all thinking of the things they think they really need.
Just then , Norma announces the stove is broken.
She calls in a repairman but he advises her to just buy a new one.
Now Jack decides its time to go to work and ask for that long , overdue raise.
This will mean more work for Jack which puts quite a strain on the family.
