Go Ask Alice (1973)

The story: Alice is a 15-year-old girl.
She has just relocated with her family because of her father's work.
Her mother is happy with their new house, her little brother is making friends already, but Alice just feels out of place...man.
Alice begins keeping a diary of all her intense emotional thoughts and feelings.
At school, things aren't any better.
Alice feels like a total outcast and no one seems to want to get to know her.
But one day, while out of school and having a bite to eat, Alice meets a nice girl from school her age.
The two hit it off and become best friends, talking about everything and anything under the sun together.
But when Alice's new best friend goes away for the Summer, things begin to change for Alice.
She starts hanging with more experienced kids, things get really heavy pretty quick and that changes her forever.
