The story : As a child , Roy Munson practiced his gift of bowling , which his father fully supported.
As a young adult , Roy became a bowling champion.
Roy goes on the road to compete in the game , wins but has some very bad luck due to a sore loser opponent.
Twenty years later , Roy isnt bowling any longer.
He is a living the life of a con man , short on cash all the time.
Roy meets a young naive Amish guy named Ishmael who is a shoe in to be the next bowling champion.
He trains Ishmael to compete , but it's Roy that gets another chance at the championship.
