The story: It's Thanksgiving day.
Elyse and Steven are planning on going downtown for a couple hours while dinner is cooking , to join the rally to protest against nuclear arms.
Alex doesn't think that's a very good idea , so Steven and Elyse try explaining to him why it is very important that they go.
Then Elyse's parent show up for dinner and Elyse and Steven explain once again that they will be protesting today.
Elyse's father agrees with Alex , but there is nothing any one of them can do to stop then from going.
While they are waiting for Elyse and Steven to get home , the rest of the family sees them on tv getting arrested.
