The story : Charlie Babbit is a very busy car salesman.
He thinks he has taken care of business in time for him and his girlfriend to go Palm Springs for the weekend.
Then he gets a call.
His father , whom he has been out of touch with for 16 years has past.
Charlie puts his trip on hold and goes to his hometown for the funeral and reading of the will.
He finds out that his dad has left him his beloved car and prize-winning rose bushes.
He also finds out that his father has left 3 million dollars to an unknown source.
Charlie goes out of his way to find out who this unknown source is and by mistake finds out its his Autistic brother.
So he steals away his brother out of the instiution he is living in and brings him to his home so he can find a way to get some of the cash.
