The story : From junkie to multi-millionaire , Nicky Barnes was known it seems , by much of the world.
And they called him The Black Godfather ya dig?
He was the man with the score to the purest heroin and no one was above him.
He had anything he could ever want all at his doorstep.
But his troubles started when his common-law wife got word of his favorite girlfriend.
Soon after that , people in Nickys circle began dying or at least being in fear of losing their lives.
Including him.
So , he decided to cover his ass and throw a few other asses to the lions.
They are in prison now and he is living comfortably in the witness protection program after spending quite a few years in prison.
