The story : In 1960 , Herb Brooks was a member of the USA Olympic Hockey team.
That team was the only US Olympic team to win a metal , none have won since.
In 1979 , Herb is recruited to put together and train the next USA Olympic hockey team.
Spending the next year putting the team through a grueling training process , Herb trains the men to be the best players they can be , always with their eyes on a gold medal.
