The story: After Maria has a hysterectomy due to having cancer she finds that her troubles are not over.
She now is diagnosed with having a very large tumor in her pancreas.
Her state is so bad there is no medical treatment to help.
Slowly, day by day, Maria is slipping away.
She begins keeping a journal of sorts for her very young son so he will know who she was.
Maria also starts tweeting about her journey on Twitter.
The next thing she knows there is a newspaper article about her.
Then she is asked to do an interview, which she does over the phone and is broadcast live.
Everyone loves Maria but she is just trying to spend as much time with the ones she loves before she must go.
