The story: It's 1993.
Cameron is a high school student who attends bible study and has a mutual but secret thing for her girlfriend, Coley.
The girls hide their sexual attraction for each other very well until they go to a dance and get caught together by their dates.
By the guidance of her pastor, it is straight to a Christian conversion camp for "SSA" (Same-Sex Attraction) kids.
Everyone staying there is around Cameron's age and against her aunts' wishes Cameron is forced, like all the other attendees to stay there.
Everyone seems to be trying their best to convert back to straight but as Cameron learns, converting isn't a conscious choice.
