The story : Ruth Patchett is a happily married women with two teenage children.
Ruth believes she has the most dependable , reliable , trustworthy husband - Bob.
One evening Ruth attends a party with Bob for some people he works for.
There , they both have the chance encounter with famous romance novelist Mary Fisher.
Bob and Mary fall head over heels for each other , resulting in Mary stealing Bob from Ruth.
Bob denies he is seeing Mary and quickly his lies become too much for Ruth to handle.
Bob causes a big fight which results in him chosing to move out on his family.
Now with nothing more to lose , Ruth is hell bent on getting the ultimate revenge.
