The story : Beth Chandler is a journalist.
She has just witnessed Katherine White , a woman on death row , meet her demise by lethal injection.
Curious about Katherine , Beth visits with her uncle Julian White.
Beth asks Julian what kind of woman Katherine was to have commited so many murders , from childhood through to her adult life.
Julian explains that it is not the person but rather the small town of Oldfield in Tennessee where many murderers have come from.
Beth doesnt buy it.
So Julian tells her of four stories about murderers from Oldfield.
