The story : When Alice was a little girl all she wanted to do was grow up and be a singer...
As an adult , Alice is a homemaker who hasnt done much with her life other than get and be married and raise their now 12-year-old son.
When they lose the man of the house unexpectedly , Alice has very little options for making money.
The only thing she can do is sing...which she hasnt done since she was young...
So Alice packs up her son and are on their way to Monterey where Alice grew up and plans on picking up where she left off.
But there are quite a few set backs along their way.
