Filmed entirely in Florida.
The story : "Mal" Anderson is a news reporter/writer for the Miami Journal.
He has just gotten back from a trip to Colorado when his boss sends him to get the story on a recent local murder of a young girl.
After getting his story out about the murder , Malcolm becomes involved in the who-done-it game as the killer contacts him with much information about the murder and wants him to get the whole story right.
Malcolm works closely with the local police , as the killer has threatened more future murders.
