Filmed in California.
The story : Three men are circling Saturn in space in the Scorpio Five.
The next thing we know , only one of the three men has survived the trip.
The survivor is in the hospital and he isn't doing very well.
When he comes to , he sees his hands are a grotesque mess.
So he rips off his bandages and inspects the damage to his face.
That's when he realizes he is horribly disfigured.
The nurse comes to his room but is quickly chased away by him in a panic.
Now he has escaped the hospital where an army general was trying to keep him confined , in hopes that the doctors can figure out what's going on with him.
But he's gone on to become a radioactive , melting , murdering mess.
