The story : American Neil travels to Paris and meets French Marina.
The two quickly fall in love.
Marina takes her young daughter and follows Neil back home to Oklahoma but soon Marina feels alienated and lonely.
Marina and her daughter return home , Marina always staying in contact with Neil.
Neil meets someone from his past and they begin a romance.
She also falls for Neil but he is distant in this relationship too.
Soon Marina moves back to America and begins seeing Neil again.
So dedicated to Neil she believes she cannot live without him in her life even if their relationship will never be what she wants it to be.
