The story : Anne and Paul have recently lost their beloved son.
They have decided to get out of the city and get into the country for a change of pace.
Anne is a mess , always thinking of their son.
Paul is dealing but not well with how Anne is.
Some strange things go on with the house , including the basement being "hot as hell" and Anne feeling like their son is there with them but this doesnt exactly faze them.
When couple from town realize Anne and Paul are living in the house , they come to welcome them.
But they also tell them of the previous owners of the house and their tormented past in the town.
Just when it looks like maybe Anne and Paul may pack up and leave the house , the towns people step in to stop them.
Because without them , the towns people will surely be in danger.
