The story : In the mid-70s , Joe Elliott is a young working stiff who would like to be in a band.
When he misses the bus to home after work , he meets up with a friend of a friend.
The friend complains of needing a few new members for his band.
So Joe auditions his guitar and singing skills.
He considers himself a guitarist but the rest of the guys prefer his singing.
So new singer Joe becomes and he also brings to the table the name he thinks the band should go by , Def Leppard.
Soon the band is rehearsing in an abandoned factory.
When they believe they are ready to go out and perform for an audience , they begin playing gigs at local schools.
During a photoshoot , their manager lets them know their next step in the right direction is going to the states to perform.
While opening for AC/DC the band is seen by record producer Mutt Lange , who believes with his help they have the potential to make it big.
Thats when the band gets famous.
