Filmed in California and New York.
The story : Eight friends , who happen to be singer/songwriter/dancers have a big dream.
They have decided to travel to New York from Ohio to enter a dance contest.
The prize is to be signed to any company who has the best to offer.
So they travel to New York but find out that in order for them to audition , they must stay in town for another 3 weeks.
Broke and with no place to go , the group decide to stay in town and make ends meet by street dancing for tips.
When the time comes for their audition though , they get shunned by the new management.
Now they have to figure a new way into the show.
