The story : Charles Bigelow lives a quiet life. He is a divorcee with a young daughter.
His ex wife shows up at his place looking to leave their daughter with him , as she will be traveling back to her hometown to attend her mothers funeral.
After sometime , Charles' ex doesnt come back. She doesnt even call for that matter.
Charles and his daughter become worried , so Charles drops his daughter with his mother , takes his dog and travels to the small town of Centerville to find his ex.
What Charles finds is some really strange people , who seem to be stuck in the 50s.
Then his dog disappears.
When he goes into town looking for his dog , some even more strange stuff happens.
When he gets spooked , he tries to leave town.
But the "people" there dont want him to leave.
