The story: Peggy is an eager, energetic college student.
She has heard about a housekeeping job off campus and can't be more thrilled about it.
Peggy rushes off to the house for her interview.
She is met by Mrs.Elliott, the mother of Jeffery who put the ad out at the college.
Mrs. Elliott tries to advise Peggy that they do not need a housekeeper when Jeffery enters the room, shooing her off.
He invites Peggy inside and shows her around, allowing her to take the job.
Jeffery explains there is only light work to be done but Peggy is insistent that she can be there almost all the time, at every turn - persuading Jeffery.
The more time Peggy spends at the house, the more she learns about its inhabitants and the strange, dangerous secret they are trying to hide away from the outside world.
