The story: Karen wants to go home to Indiana for a white Christmas this year.
But Jeff wants to spend Christmas at home, with his boys, having a Foxworthy traditional Christmas.
He convinces Karen to stay home and the night before Christmas, he and Grandpa Jim take the boys out into the woods to chop down their own Christmas tree.
While out in the woods though, they run into some trouble with the police.
Apparently, they are trespassing.
