He chose the Louds , a picture-perfect family to star in his production.
The basis of the program was to show America what really goes on inside a family's life that we don't always see.
The show proved to be what it said it was going to be and in its wake , the family who became famous in their own rights had their personal lives hung out to dry for the world to see.
