The story: Chet played the role of Santa Claus last year at the community center for all the children.
But this year he has a big date and is insistent that he is not playing Santa.
The only thing he is willing to do is to get the kids a Christmas tree to decorate.
While doing that, the man who honestly sells him the tree gets fired for selling him the tree due to an unfair customer complaining to his boss.
Then the Santa that the community center has lined up cancels, the only other person they have left is Chet.
Still Chet protests, but comes up with the idea to ask the man who he got fired if he would like to play Santa for a price.
