The story: It's Christmas day and the family is eagerly awaiting Al's arrival home from work with Christmas gifts for all of them like he promised.
When Al gets home, he has to break the bad news to his family.
The family leaves Al at home alone while they go to Denny's for their annual Christmas dinner.
While the family is gone, Al decides to work on the Christmas lights.
While doing so, he shocks himself into unconsciousness....enter - Al's guardian angel.
