The story: It's snowing like crazy in New York City.
Allison gets to class and hears on the radio that the snow isn't going to let up and that it's going to be a white Christmas.
That means Kate and Allison won't be going back to Iowa to spend Christmas with their dad as they had planned.
When Ally gets home from school she tells Kate the bad news about their trip.
Kate talks Allison into not worrying about it and that they will have a nice holiday with their aunt Margo.
But then aunt Margo has the girls worried when she tells them what she usually does for her holidays.
When aunt Margo sees how upset the girls are about how she usually spends her Christmas, they make plans to make the holiday more festive.
