The story: 30 years ago, Paul Toombes was a popular horror movie actor who went by the name of Dr. Death.
On New Year's Eve, right after announcing his engagement to a beautiful young actress Paul is fumed by disappointing news he finds out about his wife to be.
The next thing you know, the soon-to-be Mrs. Toombes is found dead.
Everyone believes Paul killed her, although he was never convicted of such a crime the murder did drive him over the edge into madness.
In the present day, Paul has been a recluse but decides to come out of hiding when an old friend proposes he help him reinvent Pauls' role of Dr. Death.
But soon people start turning up dead and geez it does look like Paul is the culprit.
