The story: Two reporters are told by their boss that they must go to Transylvania and do some investigating for a story to unfold from a videotape that they had seen, taken by a couple of travelers visiting Transylvania who apparently has seen Frankenstein there.
One of the reporters protests the idea profusely, convinced there is no such thing as monsters but he, along with his partner are forced by their demanding boss to go and investigate.
They arrive in Transylvania and go into the first hotel they see.
While the reporter who isn't taking the assignment seriously is talking to a woman, the other is asking the front desk man questions about Frankenstein.
The man at the front desk finds the question hilarious and begins asking others around him if they have seen Frankenstein.
Everyone there begins laughing hysterically about the thought of Frankenstein even the mayor, who begins to really make fun of the thought.
But the two reporters pretend they were just kidding and hurry off to their hotel, which happens to be a castle outside in the country part of town.
They are once again met by the mayor.
He is the owner of this castle which tells the two that the hotel has an eclectic aura but certainly no scary monsters.
The next day the reporter that is serious about his job goes into town to see if he can find out anything about their story while the other reporter stays behind at the castle.
While the reporter is out and about he goes to the very place where the videotape he and his partner had seen was filmed.
He is approached by a strange man.
The reporter ends up running off but now it is known that he had been there snooping around.
That morning , the serious reporter is awakened by someone or thing in his room.
He is scared to death and convinced someone was there.
But when his partner checks out the room , he finds it impossible for anyone to have been there.
So the reporter gets dressed and ready to go back into town for some more investigating.
He is met by the mayor at the breakfast table and he asks him if anyone beside them are staying at the hotel to which the mayor replies , no one.
So the reporter is off into town a little confused .
But is very suspicious believing he has seen someone or thing and everyone in town has been trying to keep it a big secret.
After much thought by the serious reporter , the truth unwinds.
