The story: Nancy Thompson is a regular high school student with a small group of good friends.
One day one of her friends tells her and others about a reoccurent dream he has been having that is scaring the pants off him, which he believes there is no escape from.
The story they are told sounds a little out there and far fetched but ends up being the death of their friend and his girlfriend.
Now Nancy will stop at nothing to find out about what really happened to her friend and in this process, she finds herself in the middle of her worst nightmare, which brings in everyone that she loves and tries to destroy them.
