After being shown in a few different film festivals, this film finally came to make its big-screen debut June 12th in the US.
Filmed entirely in New York.
The story: A young woman named Syd works as an assistant editor for a photography magazine.
She believes her life is good, as she lives a quiet existence with her live-in boyfriend.
One evening, while Syd is taking her bath she notices the ceiling in her bathroom is leaking and asks her boyfriend to call on the maintenance man.
When the maintenance man is not available, Syd takes it upon herself to go upstairs to the apartment and meet with its tenants.
The woman who owns the apartment, Lucy, is quite friendly and allows Syd to come into her apartment and check out the leak.
While Syd is speaking to Lucy, she notices many photographs throughout Lucy's home.
Syd tells Lucy that the photographs are fabulous and finally finds out that the photographer of them all was indeed Lucy.
Lucy tells Syd she has retired from working as a photographer and leaves it at that.
But the next day at work, Syd cannot get Lucys work out of her head, as she knows her bosses are looking to hire a brilliant photographer to showcase work in the next up and coming magazine they will be putting out.
Syd steers her employers in the direction of Lucy.
When Syd speaks to Lucy about the project, she is quite hesitant.
But eventually, Lucy decides to take the job, as long as she can work with Syd.
When Lucy gets the job she then grabs Syd and heads out of town for the weekend - and the weekend, is an experience of both Lucy and Syds lifetime, that neither of them wants to forget any time soon.
