This film is based on a true story.
The story: In 1930s Chicago, the illegal trafficking and bootlegging of liquor among mob gangs headed by Al Capone has begun to take its toll on the innocents of Chicago.
Gang wars have now begun as everyone involved in the illegal business of liquor production wants a cut of the money it is making and have a part of the stronghold it has over Chicago.
With many people of Chicago involved in the corruption and violations of the Volstead Act, the problem is hard to control but one federal treasury officer/family man named Eliot Ness believes in himself and his job enough to give his best efforts to take down Capone and his many affiliates and lock them up for good.
Ness befriends one of the very few strait-laced Chicago policemen and together they concoct the plan of arranging their own small group of sure-shot armed forces to take down the all too “untouchable” Capone and along with all of his corrupt control over the city of Chicago.
