The story : Goddard Bolt is a greedy , selfish millionaire.
When he decides he would like to finally do something with the slums of Los Angeles , he runs into a bit of a snag.
He is only half owner.
Vance Crasswell is the owner of the other half , who happens to be equally greedy and self-centered.
Vance doesnt want to just give up his half so he proposes a deal with Goddard.
If Goddard can live on the streets with no money for a full 30 days , Vance will give up his half of the slum.
If Goddard cannot do it , his half will then belong to Vance.
