The story : Shirley Moochmore thinks shes happy.
But her family thinks she is the reason everyone in town thinks they are a joke.
Shirleys husband hasnt been home in weeks and everyone including her sister and neighbor thinks shes crazy.
When Shirleys sister witnesses her have a public breakdown , she convinces her to shop her cares away.
When her husband finds out , he has his wife admitted to the looney bin.
Now he needs someone to look after his daughters , that he doesnt know and definately does not know how to care for because hes too busy at work all the time...
Just his luck when he picks up a woman hitchhiking.
The woman changes the kids world around but she does have her own agenda.
