Filmed in New York.
The story : Travis is a young Vietnam vet.
He has just gotten a job driving a cab in New York.
Travis doesnt care for the scum of New York much but doesnt mind driving the cab around.
He stalks in an effort to get to know a pretty woman named Betsy who is working for a local congress man.
When Betsy gets uncomfortable during a date with Travis and doesnt want to speak to him anymore , he has a hard time getting the hint.
More and more taxi driving for Travis , the more he sees the more he slips further and further over the edge.
