The story : Barnabas Collins is a very powerful , important and well-liked man.
His family is that of self-made millionaires due to their fishing company.
When a witch falls in love with him and he does not love her back , she puts a curse on him and his family.
Barnabus is condemned to be a vampire as well as losing his true love and family.
When all that isnt enough , he is buried alive by the people of his beloved town.
Fast forward two centuries , Barnabus is freed from his underground prison and sets way to his families estate.
It is 1972 and Barnabus has not been among the living since the 1700s.
He must try to fit in and win back his families company , which is now taken over by an evil woman from Barnabus' past.
