Filmed in New York and California.
The story : A pretty happy , seemingly normal family has began experiencing some strange occurrences at their home during the course of the night.
At first they believe there is a possible prowler entering their household.
So they reconnect their security system.
Later they realize , yea that isnt it.
Soon enough , the parents of two young boys find out that their youngest has been having nightmares which he believes are real.
In these nightmares , someone the young boy refers to as the "sandman" is secretly sneaking around their home up to sneaky shit.
The parents think their little one has lost it , until they see strange things happening to each other as well.
After some research and outside help from a specialist , the family come to terms with the fact that they are victims of an alien invasion.
