The story: Robbie Hart is the singer of a band in 1985 that doesn't seem to be going too far fast, on top of the fact that the love of his life dumped him for it.
When he needs work, he takes a job as a singer for a band that performs at weddings.
While working one night, Robbie meets a waitress named Julia.
The two become instant close friends.
Unfortunately, Julia is engaged to a guy that everyone thinks is the best man for her, but what Julia doesn't know is that he's really a snake.
Robbie sees this first hand and desperately wants to tell Julia but he does not want to ruin anything.
