Okay , it is a little early for another intermission but -
back in February I took a roadtrip to and from Florida.
I would like to post the pics here but instead you can find them over at my PHOTO BLOG (link to the right where the links are located) I must tell you all that this past Friday night I went to see Larry the Cable Guy at the Orpheum Theater in Boston with a rowdy bunch of good time people.
We had a BLAST!
The night before the show , Larry was on the Jay Leno show with Julia Louis Dreyfuss.
She didnt seem to like him very much , well - that was the impression I got.
I thought he was funny and silly and thats what makes him funny.
Well , anyhow - the guy that opened for Larry was a young comedian named PJ WALSH....He is a complete RIOT! Really...i will tell you that if you ever get a chance to see him - GO!
I did take a few pics from the show (although I was in the nose-bleed section). They're not that great and I didnt get many , but hey... I got some right???
I was really trying to pay attention so it was hard to take his pics and listen and know where he was on the stage.....
I could see Larry very well , - well when he was to my right I could... because if he was to my left ...well , there just happened to be this HUGE man in front of me to my left.
Not to be mistaken with overweight , he was just a lot larger than myself and so every time Larry walked over to the left of the stage I didnt see anything but the blackness of the back of this mans head. Then , after not being able to see to my left - the guy that was sitting beside me to the left who was with the group of people I was with was having a BLAST!
He was hootin and hollerin and having such a time enjoying himself and thats cool.
Although one of those hoots or hollers got to the big-headed man to my left view and he turned and looked at the guy sitting to my left like "Hey! Cut it out!"
Whatever!!!!!!!!
I mean , you arent hurting anyone , you paid the price of admission - hey the chick beside you cant see the show - You Can Hoot And Holler All You Like!
Mr Big Head , Deal With It!!!
hahahahahaha , yeah :p
But you know , when you are seeing Larry the Cable Guy in concert , you are really just listening (mostly) to what he says.
Everyone in the audience seemed to want to scream their brains out at everything Larry said.
I noticed that everytime Larry asked the crowd if they liked something (like NASCAR) they would question HIM on who his favorite is...and then they would BOO him when he answered...WTF people.....who cares what you think about what Larry likes....ya know??? You cant BE him!!!
Hahahahahahaha
Anyways - Larry asked the audience a few questions...and the first one was funny because not one person in the room answered...or acted like they even heard the question.....You could almost hear crickets we were so quiet...So he caught us all off guard and asked us if we spoke english....
After that , he ALWAYS had our attention.
When Larry asked the crowd who got to see him on the Jay Leno show the night before , only three people in the house it seemed (including myself) screamed and clapped.
Oh boy....
It seems noone can stay up past the 11 o clock news on a weeknight.
Anyways , he spoke about Julia Dreyfuss and how he really admires her , because she is a big star and he said , more or less , that he felt like she was caught off guard by him.
I thought she was just a little rude.

Overall , I thought the show was GREAT!
Larry also performed some new songs with his guitar , I thought that was funny , one of the best parts.
That was what I wanted to see him do.
Funny stuff.

I loved being there and being part of that.
The Orpheum is really such a cool place.
If youre ever in Boston , check it out! The place always has major names performing there and if you get a chance to check out Larry and PJ Walsh...JUMP!
