Filmed entirely in California.
The story : A young woman named Paula from a well-off family, brings the love of her life home to meet her parents and inform them that the two plan on marrying in the very near future.
First her parents forbade their only daughter to marry the man of her dreams , as he is not of money and secondly because they believe their daughter is already said to be engaged to another man who is from a well-off family.
Paula tries hard to get her parents to hear her out , but they will have no part in it.
When Paula’s father takes her car keys thinking she cannot get away from him , she retreats to her bedroom.
Soon she is out the window and behind the wheel of her fathers car.
She will now follow through with the love of her life with their plans , to travel to Las Vegas and marry.
When her parents realize their daughter has gone against their wishes and taken their car , they inform her so-called fiancee’.
He sets out to try and stop the couple , believing Paula has been brainwashed into marrying the man shes with. 
After catching up with them and realizing that he cannot stop them , he calls the local radio station telling the DJ that he is offering anyone who can return Paula back to him a $25,000 reward.
Next Paulas wanna-be-husbands over-bearing mother finds out what her son is doing and she sets out to try and save her baby.
She is next to call the radio station and offer yet another $25,000 reward for her sons safe return.
Now , everyone who gets an earful of the reward money becomes infatuated with getting their greedy hand s on Paula or her so-called fiancee.
