The story: On February 8 , 1983 a plumbing company was called out to 23 Cranley Gardens in Muswell Hill of North London due to a drainage problem.

The worker on the job called the police, explaining that what he had found he believed may very well be human remains...

After the police examined the bones found and talked with the worker, they understood they needed to talk with the tenant who lived in the attic of the apartment building, 37-year-old Dennis Nilsen.

Later that evening, while questioning Nilsen in his home, the police were quickly directed to more human remains by Nilsen, which he had been storing inside his house for quite some time.

Nilsen was arrested shortly thereafter and questioned by police extensively.

The fact that Nilsen had committed murders of more than one person was inevitable, proving such in great detail to get justice was a whole other story.
