Life on the V : The Story of V66 (2014)

Released April 27th in the US.
Filming location(s) unknown.
The story: In 1985, John Garabedian, a radio music DJ decided he would try his hands at working in television.
He asked fellow DJ and friend Arnie Ginsburg if he wanted to be a part of his idea, which Arnie accepted.
Now, this was the time of MTV.
But if you did not have cable, or access to get cable, you didn't have MTV.
So John decided, seeing how MTV sucked anyways, that he could do the same thing, only better.
John and Arnie started UHF channel V66, a video music television show based in Framingham and Hudson, Massachusetts, for Middlesex County.
Over time, V66 conjured over 2 million viewers.
The show did everything MTV did and more.
But without being listed in the TV Guide and not having any backing funds from commercial sponsors, the enormously popular show only lasted a year.
